This magnetic drive pump is the ideal pump for your brewing system needs. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 120C it can handle the boil directly without the need to cool before use. Extremely efficient 1.1amp pump which can be run continuously at elevated temperatures.We would still recommend putting a valve on the outlet of the pump to throttle the speed. for example KL01885 1.5 Inch Tri Clover Butterfly Valve A butterfly valve or ball valve is recommended on the outlet side to reduce the flow if you’re using this for brewing purposes and don’t want it to go full bore. Putting pressure from restrictive flow will not hurt a magnetically driven pump, it is precisely what this baby is used for. It is not self-priming, so it will need to be lower than the vessel primed with liquid before it can push it around.
