MK1 Surface Mounted Gas Meter Box Cover Housing (506mm x 450mm x 227mm) – White

A white meter cover for MK1 wall mounted gas meter box that was introduced in the 1960’s. This is now superseded by the Surface-Mounted MK2, designed to house G4/U6 meter and or regulator assemblies. To make your meter box repair as easy as possible , this item is designed and manufactured to hook over the existing backplate and is commonly ordered as a replacement cover for broken lids. Where there is not a suitable backplate and the dimensions of the cover are suitable, it may be hooked over a suitable fixing (e.g. a baton) that can be fixed to the wall.
