The Unibox universal gas meter box is suitable for all Gas Meter Installations in the UK, and is designed to be used with all front facing, top angled or latest design pre-payment domestic gas meters including smart meters U6 G4 and Jeavons J42 regulator. The installation of inlet and outlet positions is easily achieved with pre-moulded pipe knockouts in the body of the unit making installation quick and easy for installers. The MK2 Unibox also incorporates a new integrated lid locking mechanism enabling the MK2 Unibox to offer greater security, access and durability for domestic gas meter housing, while still complying with BS8499:2017 specifications. These gas meter boxes can be fitted up to 75 mm below ground level or on the wall, they come with the metal gas meter bracket and a door stay.
