Description An impressive five-stone Ruby and Diamond Ring beautifully crafted from yellow Gold over a century ago in 1906. Hallmarked 18 carat Gold and carrying the famous Three Wheatsheaves and Sword mark from the Chester assay Office, the combination of old-European-cut Diamonds and pretty red Rubies make this a fascinating antique Ring. Around 5mm in width and an ideal fit for a finger size N.1/2. The fact it was hallmarked in Chester in 1906 makes it very collectable as this Assay Office closed for good in 1962. * Rubies are the red variety of the gem Corundum which is the second hardest gemstone to Diamond, and generally considered as the stone to stimulate love, energy, passion, power, and a zest for life, and they are the recognised Birthstone for July.
